Session Description
Interpreting LGBTQ Stories in Historic House Museums is a Pre-Recorded session of the 2020 AASLH Online Annual Meeting.
This session will explore how three historic houses have uncovered queer histories at their site and highlighted these stories through new interpretation and programming. Wondering how to do this at your institution? Facing resistance amongst staff or stakeholders? Join us for a discussion about creative, nuanced interpretations of LGBT history.
